Effective Benefits of Cucumber for Skin Care

Using cucumber for the skin is really a natural way to nourish, sooth, and cleanse. Whether simply laying cucumber slices over tired, puffy eyes, or creating a cucumber homemade skin care cream, this
cool green vegetable is fantastic for natural care.

Cucumber skin is full of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin A, E, magnesium, and potassium. E vitamin is particularly beneficial, promoting healing, good blood flow, and fortified capillary walls. Hard skin also contains silica, that is sometimes known as the beauty nutrient. This essential mineral strengthens your body's connective tissue, benefiting not only your skin, but also the hair, nails, and bones. Silica might be why cucumbers are used to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, as well as improve complexion.

Eye Treatment
Sliced cucumbers are fantastic for the area around the eyes. This skin in this area is extremely delicate and thin, which makes it susceptible to age lines and swelling. Treat puffiness, under eye circles, tired, brittle, and inflamed skin. Slice cucumbers thinly enough so that they are more flexible than rigid. This enables the vegetable to come into connection with more of the skin, rather than simply sitting on the bone structure. Rest for ten to 20 minutes, allowing the cooling water and phytochemicals to seep in to the skin, hydrating cells and bringing relief. Do this three or four times a week, with noticeable leads to about two weeks.

Skin Care Recipes
Fresh cucumber may also be used to make homemade skin care products. The mixture of silica, vitamin E, and water will smooth the complexion, reduce wrinkles and blotchiness, and supply moisture to help the skin glow. Cucumber can also be useful for oily skin, serving as a mild astringent. Be sure to use the skin from the cucumber as that is where the majority of the nutrients are found.

For a cucumber face cleaner:

  • half a cucumber
  • one half cup milk

For any cucumber moisturizing cream:

  • a three inch slice of cucumber
  • one egg white
  • about two teaspoons honey
  • two tablespoons essential olive oil

Green with Cucumbers
There are more benefits of making skin care products with cucumbers than beautiful skin. This is a method to make your living environment natural, organic, and environmentally friendly. By mixing 100 % natural ingredients at home, you are eliminating the packaging, the manufacturing process, the transportation, not to mention all the preservatives, dyes, along with other ingredients found in skin care items that are not biodegradable.
