Anti-Aging Yoga Poses: Where to start
1. Half Spinal Twist: This posture is conducted by placing one leg within the other bent knee and twisting the torso within the opposite direction. This pose may benefit the adrenal glands, kidneys, and liver to purge toxins from the body.

 2. Fish Pose: This posture is conducted by lying flat lying on your back on a yoga mat and raising your chest and shoulders towards the ceiling. This pose will relieve stiffness within the neck and shoulders and improve spine flexibility to lessen the risk of injury, often related to age.

3. Tree Pose: This posture is conducted by placing one foot around the inner knee of the opposite leg and raising both of your hands above the head in a prayer position, while keeping balance. This pose will strengthen the rear, thighs, calves, and ankles while promoting flexibility within the hips. It also helps to improve concentration to help keep the mind sharp.

4. Double Leg Raises: A double leg raise is conducted by lying flat lying on your back on a yoga mat, lifting both legs together until they form a 90° angle together with your hips and returning slowly to some starting position. This pose helps you to strengthen the core and may reduce stubborn fat round the midsection.

5. Downward Dog: This pose is conducted by forming an inverted V together with your hands and feet flat on the yoga mat as well as your hips in the air. This pose may be used to defy gravity to smooth aging skin and lower the appearance of facial wrinkles. This posture will even stimulate circulation throughout the body to enhance energy levels, flush out toxins, and revive aging skin.

When these poses are practiced regularly included in a balanced workout routine, you can relieve stress and enhance the health of your body from top to bottom.
